Ramadan is the ninth month of Islamic calendar and it is specially treated by billion of Muslim. It is the third “pillar” of Islam which is religiously celebrated by Muslim all over the world. In this month Muslim show their devotion to Allah by fasting and self control. Fasting has its special benefits, like learning self control. Ramadan is also a time of intensive worship, reading of the Qur’an, giving charity, purifying one’s behavior, and doing good deeds. As a secondary goal, fasting is a way of experiencing hunger and developing sympathy for the less fortunate, and learning to thankfulness and appreciation for all of God’s bounties.
